A daylight theft took place at a house at Nela Village on Sunday. Cash and jewelry were reported missing while police started investigation.

The incidence took place on Sunday after the owner of the house Parasmal Nai and his family went out of the house in the morning at 8. The thieves had stolen a pair of silver anklets and a pair of gold earring with Rs. 2000 cash, informed victim Parasmal.

When the family returned to their house in the afternoon they discovered the theft. Everything was found scattered and all lockers were left opened.

The victims got stunned after discovering the mishap and they immediately rushed to the Goverdhan vilas police station and lodged an FIR against the accused.
