The special unit of Anti Corruption Bureau of Udaipur on Sunday evening has trapped an Assistant Sub Inspector while taking bribe of Rs.1000 cash.

The accused ASI Bheem Singh is posted at Delwara Police station of Rajsamand district. Bheem Singh has allegedly demanded Rs 1000 from the victim for removing his name from an FIR. According to the information given by Umesh Kumar Ojha (Ad.SP ACB) the deal was finalized on Rs. 8000 out of which 4000 rupees was given by the victim previously and on Sunday, he called the victim to deliver him the remaining amount, but the victim requested the accused for possessing only Rs 1000 and the rest would be delivered later, as per Adsp ACB Umesh Ojha.

According to Ojha the victim has filled a complaint to ACB after verification. On Sunday the ACB team nabbed the accused red handed while receiving the bribe.

Ojha further informed that in initial investigation it was found that Bheem Singh was caught by ACB before also while he was posted at Amet police station of Rajsamand district.

The ACB team has arrested the accused and interrogating him further about the matter and also about the involvement of other people.
