Dilip Chittora Murder: Community members plea for action
Continuing the protest over the demand for the arrest of the culprits of Dilip Chittora's murder, the members of Sakal Jain Samaj demonstrated outside the collector's office on Friday.
Continuing the protest over the demand for the arrest of the culprits of Dilip Chittora’s murder, the members of Sakal Jain Samaj demonstrated outside the collector’s office on Friday.
A number of Jain community members had gathered outside collectorate office and expressed their agitation over delayed arrest of Dilip Chittora’s murderers. The protest lasted for around 2 hours during which the members presented yet another memorandum to the collector consisting of the same demands, said Paras Singhvi, Sub Coordinator of Dilip Chittora Murder action committee.
Singhvi added that the community members are not against administration but annoyed as even after 15 days of the mishap, the accused are not arrested. Chittora, in his last breath had even called out the name of the accused. We the community members are merely requesting the officials to take quick action in this context and provide relief to the family of Dilip Chittora and the rest of the Jain community, said Singhvi.
Dilip Chittora was stabbed by two men at Shobhagpura on 21st Nov, Chittora died on the same day during treatment. A series of protests were conducted by Chittora’s family members and community demanding action against the accused.
