A doctor couple was arrested today by Sukher Police for forcefully making a girl work as a domestic help. The couple was arrested under section 370A (I) (II) 342, 323 IPC.

The accused, both doctors are resident of Navratan Complex and were visited by the team of anti human trafficking and child line. Following the inspection, a girl from Assam who was physically disabled, was found from their house.

After thorough investigation and statement taken from the house owner and report taken by the girl, both husband and wife were produced in front of Child Welfare Committee and were arrested.

According to police, they were arrested under charges of IPC 342 for Wrongful confinement and IPC 323 for causing voluntarily hurt.
