A 55 year old man was found murdered with his head completely crashed at Debari area of Udaipur on Wednesday morning. The dead body was found lying in the farm of one of his neighbors.

The victim,identified as Madhav Singh Devdra (55), was a resident of Sangatwado Ka Wada area of Debari Panchayat under Pratap Nagar police station. He was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the farm of his neighbor, Vijay Singh.

Police investigation revealed that Madhav Singh used to go for a daily evening walk and had gone out on Tuesday evening as well. However, when he did not return till late night, his son Nahar Singh started a search on his own and Madhav’s body was found in the farm, next day morning.

On being informed, Police team including Additional Sp City Dr. Rajesh Bhardwaj, DySP Madhuri Verma, Station House Officer Chandra Poruhit and his team rushed to the scene and initiated an investigation into the matter.

Nahar informed that his family has a land dispute with some of his relatives. However, the FIR does not name anyone as the accused.

Poruhit said that the deceased man was found with his head crushed with a heavy object. He ruled out the intention of a loot as the gold ear-ring worn by the victim were still on him.

Body has been moved to mortuary for postmortem and further investigation.
