The Udaipur Excise Department registered around 935 cases of illegal liquor and other related cases in the month of May. The department arrested 358 accused.

The additional commissioner of Excise Department, L.N Mantri informed that, the seized liquor consists of Country made and foreign liquor 25725, Beer bottle 9386, Desi Liqour 6919, illegal liquor 2611 bottles, Wash 208 liters, Spirit 800 liters & 3 Batti, 2 factories.

Add. Commsioner also added that the list of items seized by the department since last month also contains 2600 capsules, 3 trucks caught with the illegal liquor, 5 cars, 3 jeeps & 2 auto rickshaws, the list also includes 2 motor bikes.
