Police has arrested one person for allegedly committing theft in a shop at Tekri Link Road. The key suspect is however, still on the run. The victim managed to get hold of one of the accused while he was trying to load the stolen goods onto a vehicle.

The accused Ramesh Lal, an auto driver, was arrested by police. He informed that the key accused, Vivek Vishvakarma, had masterminded the robbery.

According to the report lodged by Ramesh Chandra Suthar, the accused Vivek was working at his shop Shivshakti Aluminum and Hardware but was fired a few months back due to his doubtful behavior.

Last night at around 11:30 pm, Vivek and his acquaintance managed to enter the shop and steal the goods. When both of them were loading the goods onto the vehicle, younger brother of shopkeeper saw them and caught Ramesh Lal. However, Vivek managed to escape.

In the initial interrogation, Ramesh Lal informed police that Vivek had made the duplicate keys of the shop four months back when he was working there. Police is searching for the main accused.
