Ex-employee of shop arrested for theft

Two people including an ex-employee of the shop Hindustan Electricals were arrested today for stealing goods worth thousands of rupees. The accused Devendra Regar and his accomplice Naresh Regar have been arrested by the Surajpol Police.

 

Two people including an ex-employee of the shop Hindustan Electricals were arrested today for stealing goods worth thousands of rupees. The accused Devendra Regar and his accomplice Naresh Regar have been arrested by the Surajpol Police.

Acting upon the complaint lodged by Shailesh Maroo, owner of Hindustan Electricals on 3rd Oct, an investigation team was led by C.I Bohraj Singh Bhati and ASI Surendra Singh. During the investigation, police came to know about the key suspect Devendra Regar who was working at Hindustan Electricals before.

Following the movement of Devendra, police identified Naresh who was involved in petty thefts previously. After detaining both they confessed of the crime.

The duo stole light fittings, wire roles, chargeable torch and fans from the shop in the late hours of 2nd oct. All stolen goods have been recovered by the police.
