Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested a man who falsely introduced himself as an undercover CBI officer. The accused was caught while he was threatening the victim.

Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested a man who falsely introduced himself as an undercover CBI officer and his accomplice. The accused were caught while they were threatening the victim.

According to ACB official, the victim Gopal Nagda, resident of Pula had complaint against the accused Bhupesh Kumar Bohra who introduced himself to Nagda as a CBI agent and came to Udaipur in search of Karan Bhardwaj (Gopal Nagda’s colleague). Karan and Gopal works at Mangalam Infra Heights Ltd.

The fake CBI officer told Nagda that Karan has done a fraud of Rs.50 Lacs with a Bollywood actor in the name of Mangalam Infra Heights.

However, Gopal Nagda doubted on Bhupesh’s identity and he rushed to ACB. Umendra Ojha, Ad.SP (special unit of ACB) laid trap and caught the accused while he was threatening Nagda.

Initially, the accused tried to convince ACB team about his fake identity but later confessed the truth.

Bhupesh told ACB that he belongs to Sanchor in Jabalpur and have many cases lodged against him for fraud and other crimes in Gujarat and West Bengal.
