Fake Currency Notes at SBI

Six Currency notes of Rs. 1,000 denomination and six currency notes of Rs. 500 denomination have been reported to be fake, by the Assistant Manager of the State Bank of India branch at Madhuban, who reported a FIR to this effect with the Surajpol Police yesterday.

 

Six Currency notes of Rs. 1,000 denomination and six currency notes of Rs. 500 denomination have been reported to be fake, by the Assistant Manager of the State Bank of India branch at Madhuban, who reported a FIR to this effect with the Surajpol Police yesterday.

These notes have been gathered over a period of more than 14 months, starting October 2012, till date. The FIR has been lodged against an unknown person and the police will begin their investigations into the matter immediately.

Keval Chand, the Assistant Manager of the branch has reported that these notes are in circulation since some time.
