Suspected thieves have stolen cash and jewelry worth lacs of rupees from a house at sector 4 Hiran Magri. The theft took place when the residents were out on trip to Gujarat.

Sohanlal Sen, owner of the house went to Ambaji Temple, Gujarat on the next day of Diwali. He discovered the theft after returning back today morning.

Sen and his family members got shocked after seeing the house was opened and everything was scattered. Upon checking it was found that Rs.60000 cash and gold jewelry weighed around 10 tolas were stolen.

Hiran Magri Police has registered the case and started the investigation.
