A father is arrested for allegedly murdering his minor son after having fight with his wife. Body of the child was found floating in the river near Bichiwara on Friday morning.

The accused was caught on Sunday after a report was lodged by his wife against him. During interrogation, the accused father confessed his crime.

According to Semari Police, the accused Harish Meena was seperated from his wife Tulsi after the couple had prolong fights and arguments. However, their 2 year old son was staying with her mother but sometimes Harish used to keep him for few days as a mutual understanding between the couple.

Harish Meena told police that his son was with him since Diwali. A few days back his wife called him to bring back their child which Harish agreed. While going to the house of Tulsi, Harish suddenly intended to kill his own son. He first strangulated the toddler and then threw the body in river before fleeing from there.

On Friday morning, a neighbor of Tulsi informed that her son was found dead in a river and news is also published in newspaper. Shocked with the mishap, Tulsi rushed to mortuary and identified her son. She doubted on Harish’s involvement and lodged complaint against him.

Police started the investigation and caught Harish; during interrogation, he confessed of the murder. He also told police that he was unhappy with his married life and wanted to finish that relation. However police is still trying to get the precise reason which provoked Harish to take such henious step.

Harish and his wife Tulsi were married for 3 years and stayed at Gujarat and Jodhpur for some time before getting separated after regular arguments and fights.
