In what could be termed as the most heinous crime that took place on the auspicious day of Navratri, a man has allegedly murdered his two year old baby girl and hanged her body on an iron railing today at Dhanmandi area.

Neighbors of the area were left in shock after discovering the body of the girl hanging from a cloth. Police has also found a note attached with the body written by the accused father Ramniwas Gujjar confirming that he killed his own daughter after getting suspicious about his wife’s character.

Dhanmandi Police has started massive search operation to nab the accused while the body of the baby is shifted to the mortuary for postmortem.

According to the information received by Police, Ramniwas Gujjar (30) who belongs to Sujangarh Churu was staying in a rented house at Dhanmandi area with his wife Hemlata Sahu (24) and two children, Lokesh (9) and Dhruvi (2) from last few years.

Both husband and wife were frequently involved in fights and quarrels and last night of 12^th Oct, they had a heated argument too. Following the fight Ramniwas took away his daughter and called his wife threatening to kill her. Scared by his husband’s intention, Hemlata took her son to maternal relatives.

On next day morning, neighbors of the area informed Hemlata of the tragic incident after finding her daughter’s body hanging with the iron railing outside their house. The accused Ramniwas is construction worker.
