In a shocking incidence today, a man was stabbed by his son over a family dispute. The injured was rushed to MB hospital for treatment and a police case was registered against his accused son.

Victim Satya Narayan Bhoi, resident of Bhoiwada is a taxi driver and father of three sons. On the day of Rakshabandhan, his son Rakesh had an argument with him and he also manhandled him. A report was lodged of the same at Dhanmandi Police Station next morning by Prakash, elder son of the victim.

Since then, the accused, Rakesh often had arguments with his parents. Today when the victim was at his house, the accused went there and started arguing with him over a prolonged dispute. He first manhandled him and then attacked him with a knife, informed the victim.

“The hunt for the accused has started and a report of the victim has been taken,” said SHO Hathipol Police Station, Ram Sumer.

UPDATE:

Later police found out that the accused stabbed himself in the chest after the incident. Police brought accused to the hospital and got him admitted.
