FIR against Trident for alleged non-disclosure

In a case of alleged non-disclosure of identity, the CID, Zone Udaipur has lodged an FIR against Hotel Trident, Udaipur today at the Ambamata Police Station. According to the Ambamata Police Station, the matter was related to non-submission of critical information through the ‘Hotel Arrival Report’ to CID, Zone Udaipur.

 

In a case of alleged non-disclosure of identity, the CID, Zone Udaipur has lodged an FIR against Hotel Trident, Udaipur today at the Ambamata Police Station.

According to the Ambamata Police Station, the matter was related to non-submission of critical information through the ‘Hotel Arrival Report’ to CID, Zone Udaipur.

As per the FIR lodged by Rajendra Singh Chundawat, CID Additional SP (Special Branch), Udaipur Zone, five Pakistani tourists’ checked into Hotel Trident on 17th April, 2012 and stayed till 20th April, 2012.  According to the CID FRRO (Foreign Regional Registering Office), Hotel authorities need to submit the Hotel Arrival Reports of foreign tourists residing with them to the CID FRRO within 24 hours of their check-in.  

However, though the five Pakistani tourists had submitted their identification and other legal papers to the Hotel, the Hotel administrative staff chose to register them as Indian tourists, to avoid But, instead of that, they allotted the rooms to the tourists, registering them as Indians.

The CID FRRO said that they had received information on five Pakistani tourists having visited Udaipur and having stayed at Hotel Trident.  On checking they discovered that their presence had not been reported.  Accordingly, the CID FRRO lodged an FIR at the Ambamata Police Station against the Hotel Trident.

Further, the CID FRRO said that a few more enquiries were made at the Hotel and approximately 19 C2 (foreign tourist registration information forms) forms were found to contain inadequate information.
