Danish Khan, 20, one of the prime accused in two different cases of firing in air and attacking a BJP leader has been sent to three days of police remand by Udaipur session court today. Amid tight police security, Danish was presented before court at 12 in the afternoon.

Danish Khan, 20, one of the prime accused in two different cases of firing in air and attacking a BJP leader has been sent to three days of police remand by Udaipur session court today. Amid tight police security, Danish was presented before court at 12 in the afternoon.

Bhopalpura police arrested Danish last night, soon after he allegedly opened fire in air, just opposite to the police control room at Delhi gate. He was already wanted in two other cases of firing in air and attacking Motilal Dangi, a BJP leader.

Udaipur Session Court has ordered Police Remand till 28 Sept, investigation officers of several police stations will interrogate Danish in the cases he was allegedly involved.

More importantly, the fatal attack on Motilal Dangi on June 15, which is said to be orchestrated by two prime accused Azam Khan and Ayub Shah, both are absconding, while several others, including Danish are arrested in the case.

Danish (in photo above), resident of Mukherjee Chowk is said to be the relative of Azam Khan. On Sept 22, he, allegedly fired in air to resolve resentment between a group of school students.

“We will interrogate him regarding the weapon he’d used in firing at Motilal Dangi, how and who did the planning, the amount he had been paid for the task etc”, said a police official under the condition of anonymity.

Police also said that, soon after attacking at Dangi, Danish fled to Mumbai, after continuous search and raid been conducted in Mumbai by police, he came back to Udaipur and committed another incident of firing. Lastly, yesterday on 25 Sept, he fired at Delhi Gate and ran away, but at night, Bhopalpura Police caught him from Bhopalpura Matt area.
