In an incidence last evening, one alleged member of the ‘Azam Gang’ was beaten by the rival gang members of ‘Imran Kunjda Gang’ at 80 feet road area, Sajjan Nagar.

As per Police, one of the members of ‘Azam Gang’ was beaten by the members of ‘Imran Kunjada Gang’ on an old issue. In the same matter, the accused allegedly opened fired on the victim and fled from the scene.

Victim Shahjad Alias Chinni lives at 80 feet road in a rented room. He is believed to be a member of ‘Azam Gang’, and when he was standing outside his room; half a dozen accused came towards him on two vehicles and started beating him. They were equipped with swords and sticks. One of the accused, opened fired before leaving the scene, informed SHO, Ambamata Police Station.

When the victim came to his senses, he also called his associates for help but before they can reach the spot, the accused fled.

“People gathered on the scene and a team of Ambamata police also rushed there. The victim was sent to the hospital and the report was lodged afterwards,” as per SHO, Shiv Prakash.

Victim has registered his report against Imran Kunjada, Saddam, Irfan, Mujjafar alias Goga and one more of their friend. All of them are having number of police cases registered under their names at various police stations, as per police.
