One person died while other got seriously injured in a daylight firing incident that took place in a garment shop at Bhopalpura area today evening. The whole incident was captured in CCTV cameras installed in the shop.

The suspected attackers opened fire, several rounds on Praveen Paliwal and his friend Vijendra while they were shopping at Star Line Garments Store. Paliwal was accompanied with his family at the time of incident.

According to police, two rounds of fire were reported while locals of the area said that at least 4-5 rounds of fire were heard.

Both Praveen and Vijendra were rushed to GBH American Hospital in critical condition. Praveen succumbed to death during treatment while Vijendra’s condition is said to be critical.

All higher police officials including S.P, Dy S.P, C.I rushed to the spot and examined the situation. Police has also received CCTV footage of the incident.

Police said that the incident is linked to prolong hostility and a person named Shail has been identified among the accused.

The attackers came in a car and entered inside the garment store. They opened fire on Praveen and his friend Vijendra and fled away.

The atmosphere of the area got tensed and a massive manhunt is launched to capture all the accused.
