Two people were shot by unidentified attackers on Thursday evening. The shocking incident occurred just outside the Central Jail of Udaipur. The injured victims were hospitalized and the manhunt is launched.

One of the injured victims, Anil Agarwal was released on bail and was accompanied by his friends when the mishap took place.

According to police, when the victims Anil Agarwal and Naresh Bapna with their friends Jagdish and Abhishek were leaving, three suspected attackers started firing on them. They reportedly fired four rounds that injured Anil and Naresh.

The victims were rushed to MB Hospital and their condition is said to be out of danger. Jagdish and Abhishek informed that, when the incident took place, a police hawk was parked just few meters away but the cops didn’t respond.

Lalit Agarwal, elder brother of Anil Agarwal is an ex-corporator of BJP. Many senior members of BJP also came to the hospital and chanted slogans against alleged negligence of police.

Anil Agarwal was in jail for a civil offence and said that he never had any problem with anyone.

All top police officials also arrived on the scene and later visited hospital for investigation.
