Foreign tourist alleges fraud by shopkeeper

A foreign tourist has lodged complaint against a local shopkeeper for allegedly cheating her. Police has started the investigation.

The victim Allen Christopher alleged that a cloth merchant at Lal Ghat area wrongfully charged Rs.40,000 instead of Rs.4000 against the purchasing of clothes. Allen, a British national, paid the amount through credit card. She later came to know about the fraud.
