Former DSP accused of wife’s murder passes away

Former DSP Jitendra Singh Sindhu who was charged to have shot his wife in 2008 passed away a few days back. He had shot himself too with his service revolver after killing his wife. After his death, the court has discharged the case of his wife's murder.

 

Former DSP Jitendra Singh Sindhu who was charged for the murder of his wife in 2008 passed away a few days back. He had shot himself too with his service revolver after killing his wife. After his death, the court has discharged the case of his wife’s murder.

The tragedy happened in 2008 where the former DSP Jitendra shot his wife, Geetika with his service revolver at his residence in Hiran Magri, Sector 5. Soon thereafter, he shot himself with the same revolver in his stomach.

Despite the shot, he survived and received several injuries in his spinal cord. He was physically disabled after this incident and was receiving treatment for the last few years.

After his death the court has discharged the case of his wife’s murder in which he was accused, informed Advocate Chanchan Hiran.
