Four arrested for theft in Jain Temple

Four people have been arrested for a theft that occurred in a temple at Gayrawas by team from Hiranmagri Police Station. The incident occurred on 25th March 2013 when a 5.5 tola gold polished urn (kalash) was stolen from Jain Digamber Temple.

Four people have been arrested for a theft that occurred in a temple at Gayrawas by team from Hiranmagri Police Station. The incident occurred on 25th March 2013 when a  5.5 tola gold polished urn (kalash) was stolen from Jain Digamber Temple.

Neeraj Sen and Yuvraj Nath, both from Maharashtra, and Bharat Sindhi and Radheshyam Salvi were arrested for stealing and selling the urn. Yuvraj is a goldsmith by profession and owns a shop at Kolpol area of the city.

All accused were presented before court and sent on a two day police remand. Police is expecting confession of more theft incidents from the accused. According to the police, the interrogation is still on and the stolen urn is yet to be recovered.
