Fraud Case of Rs. 26,50,000 registered against 5 accused

An incidence of fraud came to light on Thursday after a man lodged an FIR at Surajpol police station of the city against 5 accused for raising an amount of Rs. 26,50,000 from him and his friends in the name of proving jobs of second grade teacher through RPSC Board Ajmer.

An incidence of fraud came to light on Thursday after a man lodged an FIR at Surajpol police station of the city against 5 accused for raising an amount of Rs. 26,50,000 from him and his friends in the name of proving jobs of second grade teacher through RPSC  Board Ajmer.

The case has been registered by the cops and the investigation of the matter has been initiated soon  after getting the report.

Victim Tej Shankar Sharma of Chippo Ka Ankola village reported that accused  Firoj Ali Gauri, Syed Islamuddin, Mulana Shabbir and Gaffar Khan of Govind Garh, Ajmer who all introduced themselves as the members of RPSC board of Ajmer raised a total amount of Rs. 26,50,000 from him and his friends including his share of Rs 2 Lacs in the name of providing job of second grade teacher through the competitive examination of RPSC Ajmer, police said.

Tej Shankar further informed that he was introduced to the offenders by one of his relatives Rohit Shamra who works as a Lab Technician at Ajmer. The accused had a meeting with the victim at a hotel situated at Udiapol where they had assured him to arrange the job of a Second grade teacher and demanded an amount of Rs. 2 Lacs from him.

He was also asked to bring more of his friends who ever needs a job of second grade teacher, police said.

Victim Tej Shankar along with few of his friends went outside the RPSC office at Ajmer on 12/08/14 and handed over a total sum of Rs. 26,50,000 including the amount of all the friends of Tej who went there with a hope of getting job against the money, but all went in a shock when they got to know that they have not been selected for the jobs nor their names were ever mentioned in the list.

Upon getting the information they immediately contacted the accused to claim their money back but the culprit refused to return their amount. Later they also learnt that the accused were not even the members of RPSC board nor any of them are the chairman of the board and it was all their plan to cheat the victim, informed by Police.

A case has been registered against the accused at the Surajpol police station of the city and the investigators have started probing the matter, said police.
