The Udaipur district police arrested 5 people allegedly involved in series of burglaries, stealing of vehicles etc. Police has recovered vehicles including, truck, cars and  two wheelers and other articles from the accused and booked them under various section of IPC.

The gang was caught during the investigation of an incidence of burglary  which took place at the house of one Heera Lal Meghwal in October, two suspects Laxman and Badrilal was caught in the case and during the investigation, police got the lead about the gang and their operations.

During interrogation the accused revealed names of other gang members and series of offenses committed by them, majorly stealing vehicles from Udaipur and Rajsamand Districts

Dabok Police has informed that the gang had stolen trucks from Goverdhan Vilas, Pratap Nagar and Kandhla areas whereas they stole two wheelers from the Chetak circle, Debari and Sundervass areas of Udaipur and Udhan and Nathudwara areas of Rajsamand.

They also confessed of stealing a car from near Belota hospital and left it at Medta village after it met with an accident there.

Police had recovered one pick-up vehicle, one car, 5 motor bikes and few other domestic items from the gang.
