A female auto rickshaw passenger with two other women allegedly stole a 3.5 tola gold chain from a woman travelling in the same rickshaw.

The incident came to light after the victim woman reached her workplace and one of her colleague noticed the chain missing which she used to wear regularly.

Victim Munibai Khatik (in photo above), resident of sector 5 and employed at Aganwadi lodged FIR at Hathipol Police Station against the suspect woman and her two accomplices.

According to Munibai, she boarded the auto from Menaria Guest House. At Sikh Colony three women took the same auto. When they reached Delhi Gate, one of the accused women started acting as if she wanted to throw up and came close to Munibai.

During that time, one of the women took off the gold chain from her neck. Unknown about the incident, Munibai got down at Bhopalpura and went to her office where a colleague noticed the chain missing.
