A case of blackmailing has been reported at Sukher Police Station on Thursday by a victim girl who lodged a complaint against an unknown person for obtaining her photographs in a wrong way and threatened to post it on social media.

As per the report, the victim informed police that few days back she was approached by a number on WhatsApp with profile picture of her friend. After a chat, the victim shared her pictures with that friend who turned out to be fake WhatsApp account.

The accused started blackmailing the victim to share more pictures of her or he will upload those previously shared pictures on social networking sites. Police has registered the case against unknown under several sections of IT act and started investigation.
