A case was registered yesterday at Pratap Nagar Police Station, which stated the usage of a SIM card on an allegedly fake identification.

According to Police, a girl, resident of Ganga Hostel reported that a SIM card on her name has been issued to one unknown person named Monish Chaudhary, and she is getting the postpaid mobile usage bill, for a card she never used.

The girl came to know about all this when she was contacted by the mobile company’s customer care, informing her about her overdue postpaid bills.

Police is investigating on the matter and is on the lookout for the fake SIM card user.
