Girl's family accused of fraud – Engagement inspite of being Married

A case of fraud has been registered at the Hiran Magri police station. As per the details of the case, the applicant, Dinesh Garg was engaged to a girl named Rekha in February 2013. Recently, the applicant discovered that the girl was already married. Accordingly, Dinesh has registered a case against Rekha, her father Mohan, her mother and her uncle Kanhaiyalal of committing a fraud. On 3rd February, the accused had come to Udaipur, for the engagement of Dinesh with Rekha. On 4th February 2013, the engagement formalities were completed and as per tradition, ornaments and cash (Rs. 30000) were given by Dinesh’s family to Rekha. A while back, Dinesh came to know that Rekha was already married. The Police are investigating the matter.
