A police constable was allegedly assaulted by three people when he tried to stop three of them from beating a woman at Tekri. The constable Subhash Kumar has lodged an FIR against the accused.

Subhash Kumar, a constable at Surajpol Police Station was returning back to his rented house at Tekri when he saw three people identified as Lucky Gurjar, Kanni Singh and Sanju Kumar beating a woman on some issue. Subhash rushed to save the woman and tried to stop the accused.

All three left the woman and started beating Subhash Kumar and fled away leaving him with injuries. Subhash Kumar lodged an FIR against all three accused and a manhunt has been launched by the police.
