Haryana Made liquor seized, Police have no space to store

Udaipur police has busted yet another consignment of illegal liquor worth lakhs of rupees, from Gokul Village Bypass, close to NH 76, in an operation conducted last night of 13th September. No arrest has been made so far, after the suspected driver and his helper flee away, after noticing police nakabandi.

Udaipur police has busted yet another consignment of illegal liquor worth lakhs of rupees, from Gokul Village Bypass, close to NH 76, in an operation conducted last night of 13th September. No arrest has been made so far, after the suspected driver and his helper flee away, after noticing police nakabandi.

Approximately, 835 boxes of liquor were seized. After crushing the intentions of smugglers, police is now puzzled about storing the possessions, because there is no place left for police to store it.

At around 9:30 PM, Hiran magri police received information of a truck coming from Haryana, loaded with illegal liquor.

Acting on the tip off, police laid barricade at Gokul Village bypass. At 9:45 PM a suspected truck stopped far from the check post. There was no one found in the truck, police has seized the truck with liquor boxes.

Truck was of Bhiwadi, Haryana. “The liquor found in the vehicle is of very cheap quality”, said a police official.

Total 10,020 bottles were found of “Royal Choice”. Facing the shortage of storing space, police has decided to keep the bottles in the truck itself. Consignment is estimated to be around of Rs. 20-30 lacs.
