Special Unit of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Udaipur arrested a Health in charge of Municipal Coproration today with a bribe of Rs.1500. The amount was demanded from an employee of same department to ‘adjust’ the monthly attendance to raise the salary.

“The applicant Mukesh informed ACB officials today morning that his in charge Abdul Latif (standing in the center photo above) is demanding bribe for adjusting his monthly attendance,” said Adsp Special Unit Umesh Ojha.

On the information, ACB officials verified the complaint and the team consisting of C.I Dinesh Sukhwal, and C.I Hanuwant Singh, Narayan Singh, Bharat Singh, Shailendra and Nand Kishor arrested the accused near Railway Station while he was taking the amount from Mukesh.

Abdul Latif is a resident of Khanjipeer and was working in the department from last 35 years. He was recently handling a team of around 16 health workers of Municipal Corporation, informed Adsp Special Unit.
