An incident of alleged loot and assault came to light when a truck driver and his spotter reached Goverdhan Vilas Police Station and lodged complaint against four unidentified people, who looted cash Rs.11000, two mobile phones, clothes and shoes of truck driver Shokat Hussain and his spotter Hameed.

According to police, the truck was on the way to Vapi from Panipat, due to technical problem in the vehicle both driver and spotter were sleeping inside the truck, between 3-4 am four people on two motorbikes got inside the truck and started beating the driver and his helper.

The attackers also robbed cash, mobile phones and other items. According to victim, the robbers fled towards Ahmedabad.
