History sheeter arrested with pistol

Ambamata Police arrested a history sheeter with a pistol and four live bullets. The accused was booked under Arms Act and will be produced before court.

According to police, Javed is a habitual offender and history sheeter at Ambamata Police Station. On Saturday night, Ambamata SHO Jitendra Anchalia received information of Javed carrying a pistol.

He was caught during police barricading and upon checking, a country made pistol and four bullets were found from his possession. Police informed, “There have been 17 cases lodged against Javed in past.”
