A large number of people and groups protested and handed over a memorandum to Udaipur Superintendent of Police against the accused property dealer and history sheeter who threatened and allegedly pointed gun on the Vice Chancellor of Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University.

The shocking incident took place on 1^st Feb when Prof S.S Sarangdevot (Vice Chancellor JRNRVU) was threatened by the accused Udaylal Dangi outside the college campus of Dabok. Dangi allegedly pointed revolver on Prof Sarangdevot and forced him to give new contract of construction and reappoint one of his relatives in University. Dangi is a history sheeter and also involve in property related businesses.

Immediately after the incident, Sports Chairman of University, Bhawani Pal Singh Rathore lodged complaint against Dangi, Rathore was also there during the incident.

Today Mewar Shatriya Mahasabha and Shree Rajput Karni Sena handed over memorandum to Police Superintendent and demanded immediate arrest of Dangi. Rajput Karni Sena has also warned for violent protest if the accused doesn’t get arrested in next two days.
