Jewelries and precious ornaments worth lacs of rupees were stolen from the house of Om Prakash Mandowra at Hiran Magri. The incident took place while the family was out on pilgrimage to the holy city of Mathura.

According to Hiran Magri police, the theft might took place on 16 Nov., but discovered only yesterday evening on 17^th Nov. by the neighbors, who informed Mandowra and later to police.

Today morning when Mandowra returned to Udaipur, leaving the pilgrimage incomplete, they found that gold ornaments, including a mangal sutra, chain, 4 rings, 2 other gold chains, earrings, 4 silver glasses and other precious items were stolen from their house, at 106-Mahaveer Nagar. Hiran Magri sector-4.

Police has lodged the complaint and started investigating the case.

This is the second consecutive incident of theft in same area in last 2 days.
