An incidence of loot was reported today at Chandra Colony, New RTO office where two men claiming themselves as salesmen of metal cleaning substance fled away with 1.5 tola gold ear tops.

The accused targeted was a housewife, Yashoda Dangi who was alone in her house. Both suspects knocked the door and introduced themselves but Yashoda refused to talk to them. However, both managed to convince her and asked her to give silver ring. They polished the ring making it all new.

Thereafter, the suspects asked for gold ear-tops. Somehow Yashoda trusted both and gave them the gold ornaments. Consecutively a neighboring woman came to speak with Yashoda. Seeing both women busy in talks, the duo fled away taking the ornaments.

Yashoda informed her husband about the incident and lodged police complaint. The suspects who were looking to be under their 30s were dark in complexion and had strong physical appearance.
