Seventy five cartons full of illegal liquor were seized by Goverdhan Vilas police on Thursday morning during barricading. The consignment was found from a Pickup van while the driver of the vehicle managed to flee.

Police informed that during barricading, a pick up van was passing through Balicha and going towards Gujarat.

The police team had installed a check point near Hotel Charan Kamal. During the checking, a white color pick up van was seen approaching the check point but stopped few meters away. Before police could understand, the driver of the van came out of the car and fled away leaving behind the vehicle.

75 plastic cartons were found in the vehicle full of illegal liquor. A bill and insurance papers of the vehicle were found in the name of Pushkar Dangi of Junavas area of Mavli. Two Aadhar cards were also found in the Dash board of the vehicle which all was seized, as per police.
