Goverdhan Vilas Police on Wednesday arrested an accused Naresh Kumar from his house situated at Ahmedabad Highway near Charan Kamall Hotel for keeping 11 cartons of English liquor illegally.

During the night patrolling, DySP Ranu Sharma got tip off that one resident is having 11 cartons of liquor without license and valid documents.

After verification of the information, DySP rushed to the spot and raided the house. During the raid, the police recovered illegal liquor and arrested the accused owner of the house under various sections of IPC, informed Sharma.
