Ambamata police have arrested Prakash and his father Panna Lal, residents of Loera Village, after Prakash’s wife committed suicide at her in laws house.

The arrest was made after the father of the 22 year old woman registered a complaint with the Police following the suicide of his daughter.

The deceased had been married for 6 years to Prakash.  Following an altercation due to which she had gone back to her father a house, the girls father had recently taken her back to her in laws house.

Yesterday, the girl was found hanging from the ceiling of her room and on being taken to hospital, was declared dead.

The deceased girls father then lodged a complaint with the Police, accusing his daughters in-laws of torturing her for dowry resulting in regular clashes and terminating with her suicide.

Acting upon the report of the father of the deceased woman police has arrested her husband Prakash & his father Panna Lal.
