The toll of recovering illegal weapons in Udaipur raised to 16 when another accused was nabbed on Friday by Surajpol police from Rajasthan College of Agriculture road. The accused was rounded up the cops in a raid and is now under interrogation.

The accused Kishan Lal Jogi (28), resident of Ram nagar area of Sukher was walking on the RCA road with an illegal revolver in his custody. Based on the information from the sources, the Surajpol police team consisting of Rohitash, Mohammad Athar, Samay Singh, Tej Singh and Shyam Sunder rushed to the scene and nabbed the criminal, as per police.
The accused was apprehended under the sections of Arms Act and his weapon seized. During the police interrogation, the accused revealed that he had bought the revolver from Ramavatar of M.P. to commit a serious crime in the city. But before he could execute the plan, he was arrested, police added.
