One of the election candidates of the upcoming state assembly election has alleged of being threatened by other party workers. Police has started investigation and also gave notice to few activists of BJP.

One of the election candidates of the upcoming state assembly election has alleged of being threatened by other party workers. Police has started investigation and also gave notice to few activists of BJP.

The victim Govindlal Od, who is opted to fight the election Independently put allegation on few BJP activists including the local corporator of ward no.8 Kamlesh Jhawariya for allegedly pressurizing and threatening Govind to take his name back as a contestant.

Od with his supporters reached the office of election supervisor and gave a written complaint. Govind Od said that first he was called at the BJP party office and then forced to take his name back as a contestant. When he denied, he was allegedly threatened by Jhawariya and his associates Omkar Od, Udesh Od, Amla Lal and Kailash.

Radmal Singh, Circle Inspector of Ambamata Police Station said that they have started investigation after receiving Istagasa by court.
