The newborn baby who was found abandoned at Gulab Bagh in seriously wounded condition died today during treatment. The baby was around three days old. He was found on 10^th Dec and was rescued by a security guard.

According to SHO Surajpol Ramesh Kumar, the baby had injuries on one of his hand which got infected and during treatment the baby died.

Ramesh Kumar also informed that during investigation it was found that the mother of baby was identified as Amba resident of Bhuwana. It is believed that Amba is mentally disturbed and out of no reason she left the baby under the bushes.

Bhanwarlal, husband of Amba is a daily wage laborer; the couple has two more children.

On the night of the incident, one of their daughters informed her father about how their mother left their three days old brother. Bhanwarlal informed the mishap to Bhuwana Sarpanch who later called the police.

SHO Kumar has also informed that the family of Bhanwarlal is very poor and his wife is mentally challenged from last few years.
