IPL Cricket related betting was exposed today evening when a related arrest was made today evening by the Sukher Police.

Two people were arrested under ‘Satta’ on IPL Cricket matches this evening while they were gambling at New Ashok Nagar, Khara Kua.

Kapil Jain and Yogesh Vaishnav, residents of Bhatyani Chohata area were processing betting on IPL cricket matches and Rs. 4,445 cash, 2 calculators, 4 mobile phones, a TV set and a register where recipts of lacs of rupees were recorded, were confisticated by the Police, as per DySP Subash Mishra.

On receiving information from sources, the Police team rushed to New Ashok Nagar and there in a building the two accused were processing ‘Satta’ on a cricket match and managing the amount of cash for various customers on their mobile phones. The accused have been kept at the Sukher police station, informed the DySP.
