Jail Breaking Lead Suspension of 2 cops
Two police constables have been suspended for their alleged negligence that led to fleeing of a prisoner who was serving life imprisonment at Udaipur Central Jail. The incident happened when the policemen were escorting the prisoner to MB Hospital on Aug 20.

The incident happened when the policemen were escorting the prisoner to MB Hospital on Aug 20.
Suspended constables Radha Kishan and Sanjay Kumar, both were deputed to escort a murder convict Laxman Meghwal on the night of 19 Aug to MB Hospital after Laxman had complained ill health and demanded medical assistance.
According to FIR lodged at Hathipol Police Station, Laxman managed to escape by pushing one of the constables. Local media also reported a leading role of Laxman’s girl friend in fleeing him.
S.P. Hariprasad Sharma told UT, “We have found negligence of both constables on duty and hence suspended them.”
The runaway prisoner Laxman Meghwal is still to be found, while, police is raiding his several possible hideouts in and outside Udaipur.
