A guard at Udaipur Central Jail was beaten by a group of prisoners while he was on routine patrolling. The guard Mahaveer Singh Gurjar sustained multiple injuries and a report is lodged against all the accused at Surajpol police Station.

According to Mahaveer, while patrolling the prison, when he reached near barrack no.18, accused Dilip Nath, Parvesh alias Pintu, Atul Joseph and 6-7 other inmates attacked him. They covered Mahaveer’s face from blanket and started beating him.

Somehow, Mahaveer managed to save himself and rushed to inform his superiors. The Jail Administration lodged the complaint against all the accused.
