A woman was rushed to M.B. hospital today afternoon after she was severally injured in an attack by her husband, over the issue of money.

Shanta Kumavat, 34, resident of Daglio ki Magri is working as a peon at Devendra Dham School.  Her husband Laxmilal Kumawat is jobless and all the household expenses are borne by Shanta.

Today, when Laxmi Lal Kumavat asked her to give some money to purchase liquor, she denied.  This refusal caused him to  start beating her and after attacking her with a sharp object on her face, he fled.

This incident shocked their child, who informed his uncle (brother of Shanta) at Dewali and he with other family members rushed to her house and took her to the hospital for treatment.

All the information was provided by Vijay Kumawat, brother of the victim.  Howeve, no FIR was lodged till evening against the accused.
