In a major breakthrough, the mastermind of kidnapping and robbing a couple from DPS School road, on the night of 23 Dec has been arrested by police today. The accused Raju, alias Rajia Kalbelia is a professional criminal and several cases of theft and robbery are registered against him.

In a formal press address, S.P. Hariprasad Sharma informed, “On the night of 23^rd December Raju made a plan of kidnapping Ajay Purbia, resident of Pula and his fiancée Komal Purbia, while the couple was passing through DPS school road, Raju along with three of his accomplices forced inside the car of Ajay and drive them through Dhikli village.”

“On the way, the kidnappers thrashed the couple and robbed jewelry and cash from them”, said S.P.

Under the direction of Hariprasad Sharma, TejRaj Singh, ADsp City and Dayanand Saran, DYsp west, Ram Sumer, SHO, Sukher Police Station, and his team started investigation with the help of Criminal Intelligence that led to the main accused Raju.

Now, police is trying to get the gold ornaments from the custody of the accused and also fasten the search of other three accused Mangia Kalbeliya, Ganesh Kalbeliya and Sonu Sindhi.

Police team investigating the case and arresting the main accused was rewarded.
