A house of a businessman was targeted by the thief when the owner was at Banswara with his family to attend a function of a relative. The FIR against the unidentified accused has been lodged and the investigation has commenced.

The victim Kanti lal Kothari, resident of Adarsh Nagar informed that the thief had entered his house from breaking all the 3 gates and stole Lacs of Rupees worth of ornaments along with cash. He was at Banswara on 29^th January and when he returned on 31^st, he discovered the theft, informed the police.

Police added that upon checking of the almirah, the victim found 11 Tolas of gold articles, 1.25 Kg of silver and Rs. 1.14 Lac was missing.
