Land Mafia Demands Rs.5 Lac, Victim family Reaches S.P Office
A family staying at Gayriawas approached Police Superintendent for protection after allegedly being threatened by suspected land mafia. The family of Kalpesh Kumar Jain reached S.P’s office in collectorate compound today and narrated the incident.
A family staying at Gayriawas approached Police Superintendent for protection after allegedly being threatened by suspected land mafia. The family of Kalpesh Kumar Jain reached S.P’s office in collectorate compound today and narrated the incident.
According to Jain, they purchased an agriculture land in 2006 at Gayriawas and after completing all conversion documents etc, they constructed the boundary wall.
A month ago, the Jain family also started constructing house at the land but unexpectedly few people allegedly started attacking the labourers working on construction site and threatened the family to stop the work. Jain lodged a police complaint on 7th May but the family is still continuously receiving threat.
Kalpesh Kumar Jain alleged that the suspected land mafias are demanding Rs.5 Lac and some part of the land to settle the issue. Jain also claimed that the goons are trying to grab his property.
S.P Hariprasad Sharma has assured strict action against the accused and provided assurance for the safety of the family.
