Some serious incidences of extortion and threats increased by one more today when a Doctor received a couple of calls on his cell phone demanding extortion money. According to Police, Managing Director of Kanak Hospital, Hiran Magri Sec-3, Dr. Amit Dhing (M.B.B.S, MS and Orthopedic)  rushed to the Hiran Magri Police Station this evening when he got a second threatening call today on his cell phone demanding a huge sum of money as a ransom. He received the first call on 10 ^th January 2013 from a caller who presented himself as Kuldeep Singh.

Police further added that the caller called Dr Dhing and said, “Your business is running successfully these days. Good! But please do something for us also”.

Kailash Khatik, SHO Hiran Magri police station that Amit has given a written compliant at the police station mentioning the phone numbers, and that they will take proper action against the unidentified caller.

After getting the phone numbers, police has started its investigation to get the location of the call and identification of the caller.
